iCLIMABUILT Progress Meeting in Torino (ITALY)

From the 16th to the 18th of October, E2ARC participated in the 7th Progress Meeting of the iCLIMABUILT project, hosted by the Politecnico di Torino (POLITO).

iCLIMABUILT which is led by the National Technical University of Athens, supports market transformation by deploying efficient materials and technologies. During the 42 months that iCLIMABUILT has been running, E2ARC has had a leading role in the definition of 7 Test cases resulting from 9 Pilot Lines and in the definition of building archetypes to perform whole building modelling. In parallel, E2ARC deployed a strategy for the identification of standardisation gaps and needs of the 9 Pilot Lines. In the 3 days of the meeting, the latest developments were presented with respect to the characterisation of the Test cases and the demonstration of the developed prototypes in the 5 Living Labs.

We also had the opportunity to visit the POLITO Living Lab as well as the Indoor and Outdoor Laboratories. In the final months of the project E2ARC will be presenting the results of the whole building modelling and virtual performance analysis, based on the building archetypes.
